Trapiche Extravaganza 2015

Red Blend

Variety: Malbec - Bonarda - Syrah

Harvest: 2013

Vineyards: Vineyards located between the 750 and 1100 m.a.s.l.

Process: Hand harvesting. Destemming. Addition of selected yeasts. Fermentation at 23º-26ºC during 12 days. Pneumatic pressing. Controlled natural malolactic fermentation. Subtle contact with oak. Blending. Stabilization. Filtering. Bottling.

Main Characteristics: Alcohol: 13.5 % Total acidity: 5.63 g/l pH: 3.63 Sugar: 13 g/l

Tasting Notes: Trapiche Extravaganza Red blend is an exuberant combination of Malbec, Bonarda and Syrah displaying fresh aromas of red and black fruits, violets and a hint of spice. Fruity and juicy with refreshing finish. A wine meant to be savored!

Cabernet Sauvignon

Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon

Harvest: 2014

Vineyards: Vineyards located between the 750 and 1100 m.a.s.l.

Process: Hand harvesting. Destemming. Addition of selected yeasts. Fermentation at 23º-26ºC during 12 days. Pneumatic pressing. Controlled natural malolactic fermentation. Subtle contact with oak. Blending. Stabilization. Filtering. Bottling.

Main Characteristics: Alcohol: 13 % Total acidity:5.25 g/l, pH: 3.9, Sugar: 12.53 g/l.

Tasting Notes: Trapiche Extravaganza Cabernet Sauvignon is an extremely seductive wine displaying aromas of red fruits mix up with spices, fresh herbs and marked out by a smoky character. On the palate, it is juicy and vibrant with velvety tannins. A wine meant to be savored!

Pairing: The perfect accompaniment for grilled meats, pasta or chicken.

White Blend

Variety: Malbec - Bonarda - Syrah

Harvest: 2013

Vineyards: Vineyards located between the 750 and 1100 m.a.s.l.

Process: Hand harvesting. Destemming. Pneumatic pressing. Cold settling (48 hours). Addition of selected yeasts. Controlled fermentation at 15ºC during 21 days. Malolactic fermentation (30%). Subtle contact with oak. Stabilization. Filtering. Bottling.

Main Characteristics: Alcohol: 13 % Total acidity: 6.27 g/l pH: 3.57 Sugar: 4.32 g/l

Tasting Notes: Trapiche Extravaganza White Blend is an exuberant combination of Torrontés and Chardonnay. Fruity and refreshing, this wine brings together floral and citrus notes, tropical fruit flavors and a lovely hint of spice. A wine meant to be enjoyed!

Pairing: Ideal for cocktails or paired with fish, pasta and salads
